Back to School - Tip #11 Teacher Gifts!

Back to School - Tip #11
Teacher Gifts

Give it up for our amazing teachers! They've worked all summer long to get ready for our kiddos, and the sacrifice and patience they show them is AMAZING. We're thinking they deserve the best... and the best = Young Living.

Here are some “back to school” teacher gifts that could really come in handy!
πŸ‚Thieves Hand Purifier
Our amazing waterless hand purifier now comes in a larger size (7.6 ounces), just perfect for a classroom! This purifier is full of SAFE ingredients, and is ideal to help keep little hands clean.

πŸ‚Stress Away Roll-on
The name says it all. Teachers deal with a lot, so let’s give them something they can just roll on and enjoy the relaxing fragrance.

πŸ‚Thieves Spray
This handy dandy bottle can be used on anything from toilets to hands, to help protect from dust, mold, and undesirable microorganisms.

πŸ‚Thieves Household Cleaner
Classrooms are dirty. We all know that. But the chemicals that are used in common cleaning products can be even worse for our children. Thieves cleaner is a gentle, yet effective way to cleanse and disinfect surfaces.

πŸ‚Lavender bath/shower gelHelp our teachers relax their bodies and rejuvenate their minds with a soothing bath using nature's finest Lavender essential oil. All-natural ingredients work to refresh and condition their skin as they unwind from their busy day.

πŸ‚Lavender hand/body lotion
Another must have for our teachers. Applied during the day, this could be a quick way to calm their minds with Lavender.

πŸ‚Evening Peace bath/shower gel
This shower gel combines natural botanical ingredients with therapeutic-grade essential oils to relax tired muscles and help soothe away stress and tension at the end of the day.

πŸ‚Diffuser
A diffuser is the gift that keeps on giving. They can use it in their classrooms (if allowed), or when they get home from a long day at school.

Back to School - Tip #10 Food Ideas!

Back to School - Tip #10
Food Ideas | Energy Bites

Lets take a YL time-out to chat about one of our FAVORITE recipes for energy bites. They're no-bake which gives them an A+ in my book. They taste like a cookie! Don't tell the kiddos that they are full of protein and are naturally sweetened.

--Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Energy Bites--
Ingredients:
1 cup (dry) oatmeal (gluten free oats can be used)
2/3 cup toasted unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/3 cup honey or agave nectar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 or 4 drops of Thieves oil

Directions:
1. Stir all ingredients together until thoroughly mixed.
2. Cover + chill in the fridge for at least half an hour.
3. Once chilled, roll into balls of whatever size you would like.
4. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week. Makes about 20-25 bites.
*If the mix seems to dry, add in an extra tablespoon or two of honey or peanut butter. If the mix seems too wet (which may happen if you use natural peanut butter), add extra oatmeal.
ENJOY!

Back to School - Tip #9 Respiratory System!

Back to School - Tip #9

Respiratory System | Much Needed Support

Hearing "Back to school" immediately makes me think of all things fall.
Football, pumpkin spice, warm meals, sweaters, and of course cooler temps.

It is SO very important to support our respiratory systems while we sleep.  An easy way to do this is to put our essential oils in a diffuser.  We diffuse RC & Thieves in everyone's bedroom.  When we're breathing normally, we sleep better.  We ALL could use a great sleep around this time of year.

Breathe Again Roll-on and Raven are also great respiratory system support oils!
These 4 oils should be kept handy in your oily toolbox throughout the school year!

Back to School - Tip #8 Immunity Support!

Back to School!
Tip #8
Immunity Support | Super C Chewables

🍊With starting school again, our kiddos are exposed to new germs and sicknesses. Like everyone else, we want to avoid all of those icky things... So I'm always looking for ways to support our immune systems!
🍊One way we support our bodies is with the Super C supplements. They get a chewable Super C vitamin in the morning before school. (I take a Super C tablet as well. Non chewable.)
🍊Both of these items are powerful antioxidants + vitamin C supplements. This is the sure-fire way to get the daily dose of Vitamin C that is needed to help support their growing bodies.

Back to School - Tip #7 KidScents Collection!

Back to School - Tip #7
KidScents Collection | No Brainer!!

The KidScents® Oil Collection is made with kids specifically in mind. (but don't be fooled by the name--we use them too!) Each oil is already pre-diluted with coconut oil, making it easy for children to apply!
______________________________

πŸ‘‰πŸΌGeneYus is an excellent blend to apply and diffuse for young minds that are focusing and concentrating on projects. This is a great oil blend to put in your kids’ backpack, so they can use it during class or study sessions. Add a roller fitment to the top of the bottle and have your children apply it to the back of their neck or on their wrists while they are studying at school or working on homework!
πŸ‘‰πŸΌUse Owie topically to improve the appearance of your children’s skin. If your kids are playing outside a lot, this is a must! Simply apply to the needed area. The oils in this blend were specifically chosen for this reason. You can apply it to the knees, elbows, or anywhere that may need a little extra love and attention.
πŸ‘‰πŸΌSleepyIze is great to apply and diffuse at bedtime for a peaceful aromatic environment. If you love RutaVaLa and want your children to enjoy some of the same benefits, you need to give this blend a try! SleepyIze contains all of the oils found in RutaVaLa—Valerian, Rue, and Lavender— in addition to five other essential oils that can help create a calming, relaxing environment. Try applying SleepyIze on your kids’ big toes, along the back of their neck, or down their spine to help create a very peaceful, calming, and relaxing environment before bed. If you missed out on your free RutaVaLa last month, you can redeem yourself this month!
πŸ‘‰πŸΌSniffleEase is a rejuvenating, refreshing blend formulated just for kids. Try applying to your kids’ chest, behind the neck, or add a few drops in your children’s palms and have them take a few deep breaths to experience the powerful aroma of this blend. This blend is great to have on hand at all times during the year.
πŸ‘‰πŸΌTummyGize is a relaxing, quieting blend that can be applied to little tummies. Try applying a few drops to your kid’s tummy and rub in a clockwise motion. This is great to apply after a meal, in times when your kid’s stomach needs additional comfort, or in conjunction with MightyZyme.

Back to School - Tip #3 Homework Helpers!

Back to School!
Tip #3
Homework Helper! | Focus Blends

Focus is a common theme for back to school time. It can be a real struggle to get back into the routine of sitting in a classroom and listening to someone teach all day after an awesome summer of freedom!
Don't worry - there are SO many different combinations of oils you can try. One of our family favorite focus blends is a Valor, Vetiver, and Lavender recipe that my kiddos can just roll on whenever they need a little extra support with focus. It smells heavenly, and I can really tell a difference after they use this blend.
Another favorite is: Peppermint, Citrus Fresh, and Rosemary. We apply to the back of neck while studying or doing homework. This also makes a great diffuser combo during this time as well. <Older kids with tests coming up? Roll this combo on for support when you can't be there to help.>

πŸ“š       Homework Diffuser Recipe:πŸ“š
4 drops Citrus Fresh (may support concentration/ alertness.)
3 drops Peppermint (may support concentration/ alertness.)
2 drops Rosemary (may support memory function.)
This is perfect trio to get your focus on!

Morning Cheer! | Citrus Oils

One of the hardest things for us in August is waking up earlier!

We use a lot of citrus oils to get us up and and at 'em in the a.m.

They're not only great for giving you a pep in your step.. They can also boost the mood of the Cranky Pants that aren't really feeling the "morning vibes." (also known as ME!
Try any of the following:
 Orange
 Lemon
 Lime
 Jade Lemon
 Bergamot
 Citrus Fresh
 Grapefruit
 Tangerine
And for an extra burst of energy, add Peppermint to the mix!

Back to School!
Tip #1
Immunity Support | Thieves Lozenges & Cough Drops

These little lozenges are a quick and easy way to support your child’s immune system while riding to and from school. We keep a bag in the glove box and grab one as we buckle up for our drive. You can also keep them in a wellness kit in backpacks if your school allows.

--> If their throat is hurting, try Thieves Cough Drops to help with cough & sore throats.
--> Stock up today so you're prepared! Fall, winter and everything that comes along with it will be here before we know it!
