Recent studies show that school aged children (1st-5th) should be getting 10-11 hours of sleep per night, while most are only getting around 8 hours!
Establish regular bedtime routines starting at least 30 minutes before bed
Create a quiet & comfortable bedroom
Appropriate bedtime and wake times can go a long way in helping with better sleep
TVs and computers are recommended to be out of the child’s bedroom and caffeine should not be a part of their diet
