Starter Oils

What do I try first? 

I always recommend a Premium Starter Kit for newbies that want to dip their toes into the oily world because it's the best bang for your buck.  You get a diffuser, a great group of 11 oils that you can really use in any area of life, tons of other goodies, and access to wholesale prices in the future (24% savings) if you ever decide to reorder.  This month there's also a free oil for new users.

For friends that just want to try a few oils first I like to suggest some of my favorites:

Lavender.  (included in the Premium Starter Kit) 
Lavender helps me rest well.  It has been so beneficial to our kiddos when they have elevated temps.  I mix it with coconut oil and put it on their chests and feet before bed.  It's great for massages.  We love to spray our bedding with it for a refreshing scent before bedtime.  You can put it in your water for a nice, relaxing bath.  I drop one drop in my mascara to encourage growth and strength (while smelling AMAZING!) Soothes burns. It also helps with odors.  

Thieves. (included in the Premium Starter Kit) 
I use thieves to help me clean anything and everything... From toilets, to laundry, to high chairs.  Its something I can use and NOT feel scared to have my family around. I cringe when I think about the old harmful chemicals I cleaned with before using thieves as my go-to.  (We diffuse Thieves in the fall/winter to help fight off all of the yucky things that pass around through those months.  It smells GREAT mixed with lavender in a diffuser. It's a family favorite for sure.) 

Stress Away. (included in the Premium Starter Kit) 
Just like the name, it melts away my stress and really makes me feel like I'm someplace tropical, soaking up the sun with a drink in hand. (:  It is one of my FAVORITE oils because I carried a lot of stress around with me before I started my oily journey.  Imagine a hint of lime and vanilla.  

Purification. (included in the Premium Starter Kit) 
This is my go-to oil for anything smelly.  Like laundry, a drop on a cotton ball in smelly shoes overnight, dog bedding, etc. After diaper changing or smelly outside play, I diffuse purification to wipe out smells in our house.  We recently created a spray with Purification, water, and a small dash of alcohol so we could enjoy our outside time without the summer time pets bugging us.  (Hooray for no harsh chemicals like DEET!)
